Trained as a saxophonist and a self-taught multi-instrumentalist, Edu Cabello has developed a distinctive voice—rich in expressiveness, lyricism, and originality—that establishes him as a singular and mature presence in the Spanish jazz scene.

He has performed at venues, theaters and museums around Europe and Asia like TANK  museum in Shanghai (China), Jazzkeller club in Frankfurt (Germany), B-flat club in Berlin (Germany), Tivoli Vredenburg in Utrecht (Holland), Jamboree Jazz Club in Barcelona, l'Auditori in Barcelona and Teatro Calderón in Madrid.

Málaga, 1994. He began his musical career at the age of 8, within the Banda Juvenil de Música Miraflores y Gibraljaire, where he remained until 2015.

In 2017 he concluded his classical saxophone studies at Conservatorio Superior de Música de Málaga. During this period he began to be interested in jazz, for which he joined the AJM (Málaga Jazz Association), and studied at Escuela Municipal de Música de Alhaurín de la Torre and at CAMM Maestro Puyana for 3 years, with teachers like Tete Leal, Ernesto Aurignac and Enrique Oliver.

He has also received classes from saxophonists such as Perico Sambeat, Gianni Gagliardi, Johan van der Linden and Gorka Benítez and Master Classes from musicians such as Brandford Marsalis, Eric Alexander, Michael Kanan, Steve Grossman, Seamus Blake, Chris Cheek, Peter Bernstein, Jimmy Wormworth, Christian Scott a Tunde Adjuah, Shai Maestro, Samara Joy, Alexandre Doisy and Arno Bornkamp.

In his discography he has published more than 10 albums as a leader and sideman with artists such as Bill McHenry, Masa Kamaguchi, Ramon Prats, Eddie Mejía, María Esteban, Félix Rossy,  Maximilian Hering and Fernando Brox.

He has worked as a multi-instrumentalist in musical theater productions such as "A Chorus Line", directed by Antonio Banderas and Baayork Lee, "Cruz de Navajas el Musical", the Spanish tours of "Chicago" and "La Cage Aux Folles" and the season in Barcelona of "The Producers", the last two under the direction of Àngel Llàcer and Manu Guix.

In 2022 he participated as a saxophone and improvisation teacher in the I International Saxophone Course "Gaman Ensemble", in the city of Almería.

He has received various awards such as the Second Prize in the Juventudes Musicales de España de Jazz competition, the Da Camera Prize for the best chamber music performance in the Málaga Crea 2016 competition, the Second Prize in the band competition of the International Jazz Festival Portón del Jazz of Alhaurín de la Torre for two consecutive years and the First Prize in the Jazz Jove 2019 contest in Valencia.

In 2024, he is selected to participate as an artist in the Barcelona International Jazz Meeting 'Jazz I Am' with his interdisciplinary project El Bosque.

In 2025, he receives the PICE grant to carry out a concert tour in China with El Bosque, collaborating with visual artist Chen Xin and musician Wen Zhiyong
